Meet the Inventor
Hi! I'm DiDi Roberts, inventor of the Lunaruu™ Bounce & Rocking Chair.
I'm a first-time inventor with a simple goal—to bring products into the world that could genuinely make a difference in people's everyday lives.
I used to think the inventing process sounded glamorous! It turns out learning to "be an inventor"—and everything that comes with it—isn't nearly as glamorous as I imagined! Ha! It has been one of the most challenging, yet truly rewarding, experiences of my life. Every step has been a lesson, and I'm learning as I go.
The concept of the Lunaruu™ chair became a sketch, then a prototype, then a patented invention in both the United States and Canada. I knew I was onto something when I made it to Round 2 of Shark Tank! While I didn't make it onto the show, it gave me the confidence to keep believing in the idea—and to keep moving forward.
Creativity has always been one of the driving forces in my life. I grew up on beautiful Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada, and today I live in Huntington Beach, California, with my husband, Michael. We have a wonderful son, Brandon, and two beautiful grandchildren who bring so much joy to our lives.
